Marine Education Institutions
How many do you think are offering course in relation to marine education? You know, one of the reason a student wants to enroll marine related course is because he or she wants to travel around the world and the other is that while traveling, this marine education course offer also superb income.
There’s more other reasons than this. Well, though there are subject in education system about the natural science which is one of the pre-requisite subject. the main focus is not totally on the preservation of marine environment itself. Though marine wildlife is being tackled, this only for informational purposes and not totally emphasize the what are suppose to be done to preserve this vital community of wildlife.
One of the ironic part here is that there are even oil spills which has very tragic effect not only to the marine species but most especially to the community living in the shoreline. Today, red-tide – a poison being accumulated by clam species in the coastal areas is just one of the effects of the action done in the past years.
Well, this is not just for those who are studying marine education should be the one to be informed, but it is the whole community especially those individual and fisherman living near the coastal area. We should make contributions in our own little ways. Let us follow such coastal programs being implemented. Let us do it now before it is too late.
